Surfing in Hanalei, Kauai, Hawaii

Hanalei, Kauai, Hawaii is one of the most magical places in the world to go surfing.  The beach looks like a scene out of a hollywood movie, oh wait it is!  South Pacific was filmed here.  It also gets mention in the song "Puff the Magic Dragon" - ...a land called Hanalei.  Put it on your bucket list - this place is special.  The bay stretches along a crescent shape beach for miles.  There are surf spots everywhere.  The big famous ones require a paddle out to either of the points of the bay and are only for experts.
