Surfing in Mollymook, Australia

Mollymook, Australia is about 3 hours south of Sydney and a great little spot for surfing and getting away from the crowds.  There are two spots listed here - on reef and one beach break.

Gear: Light Wetsuit

Ambience:  The entry to this spot is over rocks and a reef from the parking lot.  The reef can be sharp so you need to be careful.  There isn't a great place to hang out here, if you are traveling with non-surfers.

Public Restrooms:  Yes.  Same location as showers.

Alternative Surf Spots

Mollymook Beach  is a wonderful sandy wide beach that your non-surfing travel mates will love.  There is street and lot parking up and down the beach.  Depending on the swell direction, either the north or south end of this crescent-shaped beach will be working.  Public Restrooms are here
